An Admiral in the Terran Empire in the Mirror universe, Black was aboard the ISS Avenger when it was almost destroyed by a rebel fleet. He was saved by Archer aboard the captured USS Defiant. Black attempted to relieve Archer of command of the Defiant; Archer responded by murdering him. [1]
