Twin sister of Jana. Sutra was an android built by Bruce Maddox and Altan Soong. She lived on the planet Coppelius in 2399. She had a passion for Vulcan culture and read the works of Surak. She played the ka'athyra beautifully, and had even taught herself the famous mind meld. She used this successfully to read the mind of Agnes Jurati, discovering what the Romulans called The Admonition was actually meant as a message for androids. It let them know that a Federation of androids stood ready to defend any new android species that were being oppressed by organic lifeforms. The message also contained information on how to contact them. Sutra, Soji and Soong designed and built a beacon capable of contacting the advanced androids. In order to convince her brothers and sisters to activate the beacon she killed Saga, blaming it on the Romulan Narek. [1] When Soong discovered her involvement he disabled her. [2]
