A Human Starfleet operative, Harewood worked for Section 31 in the Kelvin timeline. He had a child, Lucille, who suffered from an illness which left her in a coma. When they mysterious John Harrison appeared one day and offered Harewood a cure for his daughter's illness, he accepted out of desperation. Harrison demanded that Harewood sacrifice himself in a suicide bomb attack on the Section 31 Kelvin Memorial Archive in London as payment for the cure, which he subsequently did. [1]
