How much do you know about science?
THE TEST
My score : 47 right, 3 wrong, 97%.
Missed questions :
"What word, which comes from a Greek term meaning "good kernel," describes an organism whose cells contain chromosomes inside a nucleus bounded by a membrane, as distinguished from bacterial forms of life?" I said Virus. I know diddly about biology.
"The mathematical constant e is defined as the base of the natural system of logarithms, having a numerical value of approximately what?" Never needed that one. I guessed 0.567.
"With an atomic number of 9, what chemical element is the lightest element of the halogen series? It gets its name from a Latin word meaning "stream" or "move freely."" I said Bromine. Too long since I had to check a PT!
Pretty pleased overall.

Not even going to attempt that. I know I am an idiot.

41 -9 I didn't do well on some of the solar system and history questions.
I should have gotten the "Finnigans Wake" question because they mentioned the date it was written in there, but ah well.

36 right 14 wrong. Above average. Biology screwed me.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

42 right. Not bad.

48 - I didn't know the greek name for "Thunder Lizard", nor did I know the catalyst named from Athena's epithet

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

I've done research on Google. I discovered that:Angharrad wrote:25 - 25 but I got tired of wrong answers and started googling. 8)McAvoy wrote:Not even going to attempt that. I know I am an idiot.
German porn > Russian porn
There is a conspicuous number of hot, naked girls in the Czech republic
Judging by the lack of local porn, the middle east does not actually exist.
... and among a small percent of non-porn content you can learn the basics of thermodynamics and the latest on the hunt for a Theory of Everything (though the Big Bang seems like an unfortunate double entendre)
