Wow! The second season is far, far, worse than the first one. And the first one wasn't very good. Anyone else see it?

Bugger, forgot all about it. Any idea when, and on which of the bucketload of digital channels, a repeat will be?

Don't know for sure, but BBC3 usualy shows it again the night after. So check tomorrow.
As for the episode itself..........the less said, the better. Put it this way; within the first ten minutes of the episode, you have more of typical Torchwood stuff. Sex. Affairs. Random violence. Incidents caused by their own stupidity. Etc.
Though I did like the alien blowfish. It's not often you get an evil alien who stops at a red light.
And I found the "Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi" bit to be mildly ammusing.
And was I the only one who thought the trailer for the rest of the season to be horribly done?

"Torchwood" is actually available on BBC America. I saw a bit once, and I sort of wished for a salad fork.

Well you can watch it on the BBC's new iplayer thingy. I haven't used it, so I don't know how good it is. If it wasn't for the snooker, it would probably be repeated a couple of times late night between now and next Wednesday.
It got James (Spike from Buffy/Angel) Marsters in it now, which reminds you constantly of better programs......

I understand completely, Mikey. I honestly don't know why I watch it. I gave up on Enterprise halfway through the second season, yet I'm still watching the second series of this?

Ah, that was fun.

Found it on BBCi. A pretty good episode if you treat it as comedy rather than serious drama. Pity there was no mention of Torchwood Three's wild goose chase to the Himalayas, or that the writers forgot Jack's time and space wristwatch thingie doesn't work anymore - the Doctor disabled it.

The whole thing with the Master got reset, as I recall. And they didn't specify how far back it got reset. I just assume the trip to himalayas never happened.
With Jacks watch, the Doctor disabled it yeah, but didn't he just disable the time travelling part, not the whole thing?

As I recall it was reset back to the point when the Paradox Machine opened the main rift and let six billion Toclafane loose against Earth. Everything prior to that - the death of the US President, the arrest of the Jones, the Master's election, and the Master sending the numpties off to the Himalayas, remained intact.GrahamKennedy wrote:The whole thing with the Master got reset, as I recall. I would argue that it went back to when the machine was built.
