USS Vengeance !!!SPOILERS!!!
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

Re: USS Vengeance
Sweet, some new work for GK to do. Kind of looks Borgish with the flat lines and angles.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: USS Vengeance
I'd say it's a direct response to the Narada; with the detailed scans the Enterprise took, they'd have a basis for all sorts of new tech.

Re: USS Vengeance
Maybe, but scans can only go so far and the ship itself was sucked into a blackhole.

Re: USS Vengeance
Two interesting features... if you lighten the picture it's clear that there are sizeable voids in the saucer section. It's almost more a ring section than a saucer.
And if you look carefully, it's obvious that there are large "shutters" that can close over the deflector dish. The nacelles also look like they have an metal shell wrapped around them. All in all, the ship looks like it carries a fair bit of armour around.
Defiant aside, I don't think we've ever seen a Trek ship as obviously designed for combat as this one is.

Re: USS Vengeance
Cool its sort of like primitive ablative armor, appears when you need it. So if its deployed they cant warm or use the deflector?

High resolution image
Much embrightened version
Are those two big things to the sides of the deflector gatling guns?

I'm just happy to see a very NON iTrek ship. It certainly stands out against the new Ent.
I need to check Ex Astris and see how they're holding up.
