Any Cthulhu reviews?
I'm interested to hear if anyone has seen or tried "Call of Cthulhu: the Wasted Land." Specifically, I'd like to hear if anyone has any thoughts about the iOS version

I have not heard of this...
I will let you know shortly. About the PC version, anyways.

I actually only just found out about it. Since my PC is slightly older than kentrosaurus bones and I haven't heard of a MacOS version, I figured I'd ask about the iOS version.

I like it. Quite similar in gameplay to XCOM, minus the base building and research. It uses a modified version of the Chaosium RPG system I used for the (unfortunately) short-lived RPG on here. Graphics are decent, and the storyline so far is cool. I just hope it's a long game...

IIRC, it's turn-based, right? Red Wasp downloads, here I come!Tsukiyumi wrote:I like it. Quite similar in gameplay to XCOM, minus the base building and research. Yeah, it's turn based, squad level strategic combat. If you specialize certain characters, you can be pretty effective.

So, beat it; I think it could've been more story-oriented, and about ten times longer, but it's still fun, and I'm already replaying it.
