Pretty damn good overall, and possibly an indication that we've seen the last of River.

I find her to be about a thousand times more annoying than Rose-100% serious, too. Her background is ridiculous even for this show and she's more annoying, smug and gittish than Pulaski.

Ugh. I find very little in this world as annoying as Rose, and I find River's smarminess and sarcasm to be an organic part of her personality - infuriating, perhaps, but not really obnoxious. She reminds me f me, I guess, so YMMV.

I really like River, and would rather Rose be bathed in acid than ever defile doctor who.

Bah, they can both take a Joker bath at Axis Chemical for all I care, but Rose never got hitched to him. And organic or not, River's still smarmy, smug and annoying.

I'd be interested to see how someone could be saddled with her peculiar foreknowledge and NOT be smarmy and smug.

I dunno. I'd probably just curl up into a ball if I learned that's where I came from.
