That's it! It's done! I just bought my first true Sun Side vacations in about 4 years! Dominican Republic, here I come!

However, there is something I wonder. My work offer Travel Insurance in our collective insurance, but Redtag offered me some sort of medical insurance for the trip, saying that if I don't take it, I won't be able to cancel/move the date. Is Redtag's offered medical insurance also cover their "annex" costs? Or it's just a scam and I shouldn't come remotely close to accepting such packaged deal?

Medical insurance and travel/booking insurance shouldn't be connected in any way. Sounds fishy to me.

My medical and travel are covered together, but thats due to the nature of my work more than anything else.

Yeah, kind of different when your travel is your work.

thanks for the input. It's just that while travel insurance is quite necessary, I find fishy the way they are pushing to sell it at the same time I buy an all-inclusive special.

It's just that they claimed that there will be no refund whatsoever if I don't take said insurance, while I thought the two were completely unrelated.
