I put this here because I had no idea where I would put it?

Has anyone considered using an Ebook reader? I'm the first one to admit I was ultimately skeptical about the whole affair but it's actually a lot more ergonomic and usable than one might think. I've been used to the Books app on the iPad which is excellent, with really smooth options for making text larger/smaller, screen intensity and just little aesthetic touches like page colour changes to simulate an old book. I know it's all somewhat inconsequential in the face of the actual material you're reading, but I personally find Ebook readers really quite convenient. I read an trial except from Excession and have a few golden classics completely free.

I'll let you know my thoughts after Christmas, as it's been heavily implied I'll be getting one then.

Kindle, I expect?

I love using my iPad as an ebook reader, the lighting on it just makes it easy to read, although glare is sometimes a problem, it very rarely is, and it's strengths far outweigh it's weaknesses.

Ah, I'd never really heard of that before now, Barnes & Noble is a very american thing.

I'm likely getting a Kindle for Christmas.

I've got the base line Barnes and Noble Nook......and I love it. I can carry all my books with me, and book shopping got really easy. No more going to the bookstore 8)
