Cue epic Reset Button mashing in the next episode.

While it was a little slow to get going, I think it was pretty good.

I enjoyed it - main thing I'm wondering about is who the voice in the tardis was (a doctor from the future perhaps), i mean who the hell is advanced enough to take control of a tardis!

It sounded almost like Davros to me.

You're right - i had a re listen to the voice and it does sound like him though how the hell he gets worked into the story is beyond me.

Okay, lemme get this straight. All these ancient enemies of the Doc get together to trick him into the Pandorica, a prison...

When all their problems could be solved by SHOOTING HIM!

You have guns! He can escape the prison! Shoot him until he's dead, wait for the regeneration and then shoot some more! :bangwall: :madashell:

They've been trying that tactic for centuries, without success. Locking the Doctor up is one of the more successful methods of slowing him down.

Then use a pair of iron sights. Take a lesson from Simo Hayha!

Hitting him is only half the problem - he has a tendency to shrug off hits, and the only one of the bunch to even force a full regeneration were the Cybermen. That took an entire planet to inflict a strong enough energy drain.

Hollow-point to the skull. Rock beats laser. :sniper:

Given the number of cave-ins he's been in (not to mention being dropped on his head off the Pharos telescope) and suffering no serious observable injuries, I'm not so sure. Not to mention Dalek gunsticks, both here and in JE, which have a considerable KE component.
And... why do we have a kiwi emoticon?
For the kiwi of course.

Well... I am reminded of him being shot and dropped in the Eighth Doctor movie. And yes, it counts. :P

Did I mention that's one of my favorite scenes in Who history?

He dropped when he had rocks dropped on his head and when he was shot by Daleks. Those bullets did almost no damage - their worst effect was putting him in hospital, where he was promptly killed (and almost prevented from regenerating) by an incompetent surgeon.
