What are your thoughts of the strongest ship the Younger Races could field before the Alliance came up with their Victory-class vessels? Reading A Thin Veneer got me interested in this particular piece of Minbari starship tech.

An awesome ship! Grace, size, raw power and range. Do we have a pic to go with this?

I always loved those ships for the alien feel about them. They look like nothing we would ever build.

Its like it has those cranial ridges along its side. Very nice touch.

I think this is probably one of, if not my all time, favourite B5 ship. It was alien enough, weird enough, strange enough to fit a race like the Minbari, who are themselves radically different from humans in biological and societal structure. The ridging along the side of the main hull area replicates the cranial ridges on the Minbari themselves. The three engined drive system kept true to the concept of three being sacred. All the ship fits in with Minbari customs and traditions. It just fits perfectly. Not only that, but all through the first series everyone feared these ships. A Sharlin drops in, and you KNOW something BIG is going down and you dont mess with it. The most powerful ship the younger races had to offer. Elegantly beautiful, but unimaginably deadly.

Please say I havent broken any copyright laws.

Very alien, very nice class. To me they always looked like fish.

Very alien, yet still a fairly practical design. I like it.
