Enjoy, Chuck as usual is hilarious and his cold improves his voice.

I always thought the less said about Threshold the better

I'll agree, but that

I'll still have to check it out. It DESERVES to be ridiculed

Ha, just as brilliant as I was hoping.
Loved the line about shoveling care-bears into a furnace.

I just realised this (someone on SDN mentioned Hitchhikers): Warp 10 is the Infinite Probably Drive from Hitchhikers, except instead of turning into a flower or conjuring a whale it turns you into a lizard.

I still think Starfleet should work on developing my idea for the Ocampa drive, in which Ocampans and 8472s are thrown together in a small chamber. If The Gift is to be believed, each Ocampa so used will allow a ship to travel some 10,000 light years in a matter of seconds!

The only problem is that with the farcically nonsensical, but canon, given birthrate of the Ocampa, they're a non-renewable resource.

Assuming they can't be mass-cloned, of course.

Maybe you could cross breed one with a Tribble - never ending supply.

Hey, you can mate anyone with anything and come up with fertile offspring, so I see no reason it wouldn't work.

I don't think even Trek has tried breeding a humanoid with something that looks like it should be hanging from someone's rear view mirror. Yet, anyway.

Well, the salamander sex came close.

That's different - they were both salamanders. Besides, obviously giant salamanders are a hyper-evolved form of humanity.

I meant in terms of sheer "WTF" value, not of any logic.
