Is it just me, or does their logo seem familar from somewhere?

Have you ever seen the UN symbol?

Pretty much the Fed logo, though I believe hat was what the Federation symbol was based off of.

Though the Chinese one is even more amazing (and funny) due to the Star Trek delta in the center. And it came second (or third, depending on which way you look at it).

ya it's like a claw thing a dot with three curved spikes comming off of it, with the third (furthest to the right) curving in the opposite direction making it look opposable.

The logo isn't all that supprising, the leaves are olive branches which are a sign of peace. The arrow comming up out of the circle possably representing the direction of exploration away from the planet?

then again they could all be big ST fans.

I've never seen it. It's probably a fan creation.

Oh, it's genuine, although whether it can be considered a Borg symbol is debatable, as it was only seen used by Lore's Borg.

It's grabbing, basically. Like a claw reaching out to take what they want.

I swear I recall seeing that later on as well, maybe on VOY, or First Contact. I'm not sure, though.
