Best/Worst ship deaths in Trek

This is a tangent to the thread in the TNG forum about the ultimate death of E-D. The death of the original Enterprise in ST-III is a classic that was referenced in that thread, even the first Defiant had a proper death in fierce battle.
Edited to add Worst to the title; let's see both sides of the coin here

Worst: E-D in Generations.
Best: Big E in TSFS or the Reliant in TWOK.

Enterprise nil in The Search for Spock - Damn those Klingons were stupid.
As crappy as the Enterprise D's death was, the saucer crash was pretty cool.
But, I'm gonna for for the Enterprise D in "Yesterdays Enterprise". Really loved Picards defiant leaping over the console at the end.

Worst: The Enterprise-D in Cause and Effect. A nacelle gets grazed and that leads to the most violent ship death ever? The explosion looked like someone just put dynamite in a toy and let it explode. Spectacular moment, but the explosion was way overdone.
Honorable Mention: In comparison the death of the U.S.S. Yamato. Blinding flash of light, a sizable chunk of debris flies into the Enterprise-D, then we see her saucer going across the screen and burning up. Then the burning, fiery end of the Yamato's saucer. You can almost feel the people in the saucer die a slow death. Traumatic and dramatic.
Best: The Big E in The Search For Spock is the best. She goes slowly at first, the saucer is melting away as her name burns away, then the saucer explodes. But this isn't enough, for then we see the remains of the Enterprise streak across Planet Genesis' atmosphere and then we get to watch the old crew watch their beloved ship fall across the sky into the sunset, never to be seen again.

Not to mention the toasted Klingons.

I enjoyed the first DS9 Defiant getting pummelled before being eventually destroyed. Maaan, it took a beating before blowing apart!?!?!
Worst, guess it has to be E-D. For what we saw it go through, it was a disappointing end. Still, how did it last so long being a GCS!?!?!

Well the original Galaxy class ship is still going strong in Nemesis.

Worst: Definately the E-D
Middle of the rode: Yamato - Crap reason, spectacular details. Reliant - it was good reason but it wasnt a fantastic detonation. All the hype, and shredded into sparks.
Best: E-nil in TSFS - I mean come on! Blowing up to take the klingons with her? fantastic. And considering the age of the film, it was a pretty good boom too. Defiant - How many frigging torpedoes did it take to blow?

Best: Enterprise
Honorable Mention: Reliant
Worst: Enterprise-D being beaten by an obsolete Bird of Prey
Dishonorable Mention: Odyssey
Breaking the rules and crossing over: Death Star 2 - The effects on Endor would have been chataclysmic, between debris, gravity, and the actual shockwave.

Hang on, did we actually see the E-D blow up before our very eyes in 'Yesterday's Enterprise'? I'm sure many of you will delight in putting me right here but wasn't it a bit of a 'Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid' ending? Sure, it was likely going to blow any second but did we actually see it go boom?

We didn't actually see her go, although La Forge predicted that she was a couple of minutes from a core breach. The last sight of her was the bridge going up in flames, two BoP cruisers closing on her while firing, then a cut to the E-C entering the rift and all back to normal.

I have one that I thought was amazing due to the circumstances and all:
Year of Hell Part 2 when Voyager ran into the Krenim Time ship.
