Stargate: SG-1
"Cold Lazarus"
I liked this one. How they explored Jack's tragic past. It was important that they did that. It's the reason for Jack being the way he his--his dry humor. Without that shield, he would be the way we first saw his character in the original movie. It brings to mind his line to Daniel in "Children of the Gods": "I'll never forgive myself, but I can make myself forget--sometimes."
I always find myself get teary-eyed whenever I watch this one--especially when "Jack" turns into Charlie in front of the real Jack.
