What exatcly do we know abaut it?
It firs apered in FC. Than we saw them in DS9 battles. Its small the size of a Miranda. Looks greate. The designe is simple, I expecily like how the deflector is suspended under the ship.

We know that they are lightly armed and moderatly if not highly manourerable.

Do you mean the Steamrunner, from what I remember the Deflector on the Saber is in the normal place. The Steamrunner however has the underhung dish. I like both of the designs but to me the Steamrunner is the better looking design.
Either way we know virtually nothing about these ships from Cannon.

I liked the design as well. Sure wish we'd gotten to see more of them; maybe learned a bit about their capabilities or specs.

IIRC, they seemed pretty cool.

Cool designs, agreed - nice to see a bit of departure from trad styling. However, KuvahMagh is right - per canon, we have nothing to go on.

Also, I think we are still talking about the steamrunner, given his description of the Deflector Dish.

Well, both of them were pretty cool.
I think Graham's description of both ships is fairly spot on, so it should be sort of hard to mix them up.

Yeah, I was referring to either (although I'm a bit partial to the Steamrunner myself.)

Have ever seen them in any DS9 Fleet action?

the Steamrunner has appeared in Fleet Actions, Memory Alpha has the appropriate images and such.

I was referring to the Original Post where he talks abiout the Saber having the Deflector Dish hung underneath the ship. The saber has it's Dish mounted normally while the Steamrunner has it underhung.

Yeah, I know. I just didn't see how mlsnoopy could've mixed the two up.

Judging from size and what they did I'd say they are a support frigate.

Agreed, I would say Graham's classification of the Steamrunner, as a Light Cruiser, is a bit over reaching, I would call the Steamrunner a Frigate while the Saber would likely be an Escort/Scout/Corvette.

It the Saber not Steamrunner. Bu I belive that the steamrunner also doesn't have its ovn thread.
Well the deflector is kinda like a bunp sticking from the hull.
Well it could be a replacement for the Miranda. A new designe that fills all the jobs.
