We had a thread about music you like.
So link to some stuff. Much if it is online somewhere. Youtube often comes through. And sometimes the videos are good to boot or the origionals.
I'll start with

Couldn't resist with the last one..... on that note his label is considering releasing another CD based on the traffic from the rickroll meme.
Oh heck. In case you don't recognize Big and RIch you might recognize

I'm only gonna do one at a time, 'cause my interest s are so wildly varied. I might base something on what's in my car right now.
How about some psycho-billy?

Heh. DJ punjab is a great find.
A couple of reliants groups had a similar style. Would they be considered "emo"?
And from now on I'm turning the volume down before clicking on anything metalhead posts.
ANyway a fun song I can connect with maybe a bit too much.

Maybe a little real-type NY third-wave:

Oz's greatest third-wave band, and a testament for enyone who's ever dated a woman:

A cut performed at one of the most painful concerts I've ever attended - IDK if I would have made it without the gin:

Couldn't resist - New Jersey's own:

Huh. I hadn't heard of third-wave, but I think I could recognize it now.
I'm pretty sure there is some KMFDM I like but that wasn't the best song. Hmmmm. I like their song "anarchy" but the youtube version has the tempo turned down and it lost its edge.
Ah here we go.

Yeah, there's all sorts of weird remixes around with an act like that.
As far as true rock spectacles, everyone should see KISS before they die.

Bauhaus. By god i've heard of them. Although they're a tad....weird for me...
For those who dont know it, Emo Music was started by Rites of spring. Like most of the original bands, it caved in long ago. But some bands from the 90's have survived like Dashboard Confessional. Of course there are the modern bands like Hawthorne heights and AFI. Then there is the stuff that is classed as Emo but is not like My Chemical Romance.
some new additions

"Weird" for a self-professed emo?
Try one of the bands that formed from Bauhaus' break-up:
