The 4400

Post by Deadilus »

Has anyone else out there caught this amazing series?

All I can say is Season 3 is out on DVD here in the UK and when I actually get some time that isn't spent either working or writing then I intend to go out, buy it and watch it, and then cuss the studio lots as I wait for Season 4 :)

Okay so not to necro a dead topic that was 2 years old and all and had no responses but I've been watching 4400 and about where this guy was when he made his post. And I was going to make a post but unlike some I check to see if there's a post about it already :p

I'm halfway through season 3 and its a great series. A lot like heroes naturally but since it came out before heroes I give it more credit. The main actor kind of bothers me. Not that his acting is bad but his movements are theatre acting style. If you watch it you'll notice there are few close ups. Most are medium long distance shots simply because of his acting style. With the variety of directors that direct different shows it makes me think the actor just can't be couched well.

But I like a lot of the other characters. Another thing that irks me though is they seem to have changed storyline twice. First season only had like 5 episodes and seemed to be following a storyline. Then they seemed to have changed their mind about midway through the second season. It makes it seem like they left a lot of lose ends. The plus side is its hard to see what's going to happen next because well I don't think the writers know whats going to happen next :p
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.
