Well, wasn't feeling this action extravaganza until the very last moment. In truth, I don't know if I want to watch anymore Picard but I guess I have to because I am a Star Trek fan, and this is the last season, as has been confirmed.
Don't be shy. Speculate on stuff. Also, tell me why I should be excited, why you enjoyed that trailer and feel energized to watch the final season of Picard.

I can't fathom who the bad woman is?
I will watch it either way, as I love Star Trek and would rather watch every iteration at least once. I haven't been enamoured with Star Trek: Picard overall, but there have been aspects I have liked.
However, seeing Moriarty has really peaked my interest. I wasn't expecting to see Lore again, but I look forward to seeing how this all plays out.
Also, what has turned a warrior like Worf to a path of pacifism?

Moriarty and Lore... OK, but yes I don't get who the woman is. You would think the Moriarty was lost with the loss of the E-D.
Lore makes a lot more sense that yet another incarnation of the Soong dynasty.

What is Picard's greatest sin? Was it leaving that drug-addict planet to recover on their own, while leaving the drug dealing planet without a way to earn an income?

Could the female baddie be a Romulan connected to the Tasha Yar version or the Picard clone from the last film?
Getting strong Romulan vibes off her and her ship...or not..who knows?

The Mrs and I are currently re-watching seasons 1 through to 7 of TNG. I think that'll stand us in good stead for when we watch S3 of Picard.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Moriarty and Lore fit in. I'm glad it's all in the can before anything happens to Patrick Stewart.
Perhaps the Skin Of Evil will vomit and throw up Tasha Yar who's now magically back to life. If not, it HAS to be Yesterday's Enterprise related.

I'm currently on a TNG rerun as well, I go through the various series, plus Stargate and Babylon 5 every few years. I am on season 5 of TNG presently.
That's an intriguing possibility, being related to Yesterday's Enterprise. I hadn't considered that.
I too am looking forward to seeing how Moriarty and Lore fit in, I'm looking forward to seeing how they end off the series, and I am glad to see the TNG cast all back together for one last journey.

I... really wish they would turn the lighting up! It's legit hard for me to make out stuff in them!

Dark Trek indeed.
Like there are no real reasons to have lighting that low on a starship. You do it in real life to cut down on visible light that could be potentially seen for miles. They say that they can see a lit cigarette from miles away on a clear night on open seas for example. But when you are deep in the ship, full lights are on.
So what is the reason for dark lighting?
