Not really... if you ignore their shape, insanely heavy coat, muzzle, paws, and the fact that they grow larger than the adults of some species of bear...Cpl Kendall wrote:They really do look like bears, don't they?

Hey, I'm just not that nice.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Tsuki, sorry to hear there. At least she's gone and you can move on from that bad spell.
I do. *shrug*Reliant121 wrote:Whoops, sorry Tsuki, kinda ignored the issue a little as i'm being thick. I suppose I'd take gratitude that I did the best to make it comfortable, and if they showed contempt for it...well, I think you know you're the better of the two parties. Take pride and comfort in your moral superiority
My condolences Mikey, I may not have experienced something of this magnitude but I know it's difficult to standby feeling useless to someone you care about. My thoughts are with you, and your wife.Mikey wrote:My wife just got taken to the hospital. She had severe upper abdominal pain - which she described as being worse than either or both of the kids' deliveries - plus shortness of breath and dizziness. I feel like a complete moron, because I couldn't go with her - the kids are asleep and she would be an even bigger wreck if I woke them and packed them up. So, here I am.
Son of a mother f*cker. It's just one of those months, I guess.Mikey wrote:My wife just got taken to the hospital. Panic attacks suck.Cpl Kendall wrote:Hope she'll be OK Mikey, sounds a bit like the panic attacks Val has been having.
That's definitely part of it. I just can't take the time to rest and get over them. I'm working 12+ hours a day then get home and have to look after an 8 month pregnant wife and two little kids. If I could take a day or two off work to just rest I'd be fine. But since I can't, what should be a 24 or 48 hour bug drags on for a fucking week.Cpl Kendall wrote:It's just been one bug after another here, be nice when the weather improves and we don't have to sit inside and pass it back and forth.Tyyr wrote:See I just got over a stomach bug, which has now rolled over right into a head cold.
I may sound like a d*ck here, but have you ever thought about pulling it out?Tyyr wrote:...I'm working 12+ hours a day then get home and have to look after an 8 month pregnant wife and two little kids...
A few more offerings to Tzeentch and maybe you'll get foresight?Tyyr wrote:Given that my wife is 8 months pregnant I don't see how I could have predicted that I would get sick now and that would have an effect on the situation.
