All too bloody true. Though in my experience the majority of parents I've run into have taken at least a minor interest in their kid's performance in school (I've been rather lucky in that respect). The rest of them....well, you can frequently see where certain kids get their problems from.

Well, this weekend should be interesting. I've been asked to be one of two dates for the actress I'm seeing. She wants to bring her girl-toy as well. I'm torn between saying "screw this" as too similar to the ex wife problem, or "right on" as things have the potential to get VERY interesting.

I'd say don't assume the worst unless you have reason to believe that things will get ugly.

Well I just had someone tell me that since they're butcher assures them that their "free-range" "organic" chickens were "happy," then they were damn well raised happy and happy chickens taste better.
