Well, for good or ill I'm married to a fan of "Celebrity Apprentice." Alas, George Takei was "fired" last night... but for being on a show that encourages histrionics and infighting for the sake of melodrama, Takei was the very definition of the term "class act." Even though he tried to remain steadfast in his fight for a charity very close to his heart, George couldn't be baited for love or money to be negative toward his competitors. My wife - hardly a Star Trek fan or a fan of George Takei in particular - commented on what a high-quality, stand-up guy he was.

Then another co-worker is on my case because I don't read the "Classics", I've never read the Iliad or Odyssey, which I guess is a mortal sin, then he says Helena is the wife of Zeus!!

I said, "I thought Hera was Zeus' wife, Helena was in Troy." Oh yeah that's right.
