BS:33 +10 close range =43 rolled 05
second shot BS33 +10 close range =43 rolled 36

Damage roll1: 6 +3 =9
Damage roll2: 8 +3 =11
Note: You're at point blank, that would be +30
Another note: As was just pointed out in the DH game, you're actually not allowed to make double actions like that. Allowed this time since it was done before that rule was brought to our attention.

Stats!
HP: 10
Armor and toughness
Head: 0+3=3
Body: 1+3=4
Arms: 0+3=3
Legs: 0+3=3

So guy 1 you nailed in the body for 5 damage after def, bringing him to 5.
Guy 2 you also hit in the body for 7 damage after def, bringing him to 3.

They're going to take another go at you with the knives. They get +10 for ganging up on you in melee, so they're both at 45.

1 rolls 66, miss
2 rolls 14, hit, unless you can dodge it.

Tyyr: WP test...don't fail it.

Survival's future prospects

I've been giving some thought towards canning Survival in favor of a more planned, more cohesive RP. This really was more of a playground RP, something to let me (and others) get a feel for the 40k system/universe. It's certainly turned out to be a lot of fun as well, but there really isn't too much to it.

However before I go ahead and make any plans and such, I wanted to see how you all felt about it. Would you prefer to continue Survival? Would a 3rd full RP be too much to play? (I believe everyone involved in this is also taking part of both Ken's RPs.) Any other thoughts for or against?

If we do drop Survival for something else, what would people be interested in? I currently have three basic story ideas rolling around in my head.

1) A feral or feudal world that has long been lost from the empire and rediscovered, and is having to be forcably brought back under control. Player options on both sides of the struggle.

2) A Sororitas campaign. (I'm sure Tyyr would love this)

3) A campaign centered around one Inquisitor taking on another, trying to prove that they aren't just practicing radical ideas, but out right hersey.

If any of those appeal to you more than the others, let me know. I'm also considering starting this campaign at a mid to high level.

I say we keep going with this. I've got no real issue keeping up with multiple RPs myself. If you want to keep this one as a playground that's great. I've got no problem bouncing around. If you want to start working in a story that's fine too. Personally I'm liking Mir and his goal right now.

I'm liking this one, but I have an idea if you're interested in starting up a story. How about all of the events in the current thread are happening at the same time, with perhaps each person(s) meeting up at some point and trying to find out just where in the Warp they are. I think this scenario could make for quite a good survival-horror style game, as we all try to survive long enough to find a way back to safety.

I actualy had a plot for a somewhat similar RP that was rolling around in my head earlier this year (though it wasn't intended for 40K, being in a modern day setting). I got the details fairly fleshed out, but abandoned it due to lack of time. If you'd like, I could PM you the basic storyline, and you could perhaps adapt it if you found it interesting.

So two votes to keep this going, with an additional "Bring everyone together" vote. And go ahead and PM me, I'm curious.

I'll have to root through my files to find it, so it'll probably take me an hour or so to get it to you.

I certainly do.

And, PS, it's "Tsu".

Well, I guess that would be overwhelming support to keep going as is...very well then.

Now I just have to go back and figure out what everyone was doing and get things rolling again.

This might be messy, feel free to pipe up if I make any errors or omissions.

It's your own fault for slacking off.

Solaria-demoness was taunting me in an apartment building. Playing "What's behind the door" with me. Was heading upstairs to keep hunting her and just passed a WP test.

Damn right, Tyyr! How dare he let something as trivial as a wedding get in the way of our pointless entertainment!

Anyway, I was following the map to go look for the motorpool with what's-her-name.

So hit to the body, def of 4 halves the damage, so he's at one critical, and can only make a half action his next turn.

And yes, you can switch weapons.

Guy 1 attacks all out, +20 to WS but can not dodge or parry this turn. +10 for ganging up, so he's at 65 to attack. Rolls a 10.

Guy 2 attacks, +10 ganging up bonus brings him to 45, roll 16.

You can try to dodge one of them, choose which and make the attempt.

Ah, so we're going to re-start this with a round of taunt the GM are we? That's fine...

Sounds familiar...I get the feeling something dreadful was about to happen...
