"I think that sounds like an agreeable plan of action." Skive lapsed in a thoughtful silence, staring off into space while they waited. When the servo-skull returned, it once again docked with Skive's hand, downloading it's findings directly to him. "I believe I have found a way out."

"Tell! Does it go up?"

"It does indeed go up." Skive sized Buck up. "Though it might be a tight squeeze for you at the end."

"What you mean at end? Does it get small?!" Buck's face showed an almost worried sense to it.

"Well, small relative to you, yes," Skive said, already directing the two servo-skulls and the gun servitor into the passageway. "The way out is a manhole at the top of a ladder."

Buck grunted in agreement and stood. "GOOD! Funny flying skulls go first! Then, funny metal human."

"I assume that's your way of volunteering to bring up the rear?" Skive asked.

"I biggest and biggest goes in back, shoot over smallest! But, you's soft so you stay close. I hide you."

Reaching the office building, Asyd finds the double glass doors locked.
With a smirk and a short glance over her shoulder, she drew her sword and hefted it overhand; the glass of the door shattered into thousands of square-shaped pieces under the impact, and she stepped through into the lobby.

"Uh...thanks."
The trip through the sewer was much as before for Buck, less dark thanks to the illuminator skull, and louder due to the heavy foot falls of the servitor, but still dank and smelly. After walking for a while, following after the floating servo-skulls, the group came to a section of sewer tunnel into which a ladder decended from above.
The ladder was slimy and rust colored, but looked strongly made and solidly fixed to the wall. It climbed upwards into a small opening in the ceiling of the tunnel, the opening leading to it's own tunnel, running vertically to the street above.
Skive examined the opening, and then looked at Buck. "It's going to be tight, but you should be able to squeeze through."

At the front of the lobby is a security check point, a pane of clear plastic material stretched across the end of the hall from the doors. An auspex is set above the only opening in the see through wall, and a pair of desks flank the enterance. Beyond them the lobby waits, lines of dead and dried potted plants standing. A row of elevators dot the back of the lobby, and several sets of doors run along the side walls.

"Hey, didn't know how much you were still hating me." Mir fetched the garbage can, dumping it out and stuffing some paper and other things in. He sighed and brought it back. "We might want to wash this stuff later," he says before putting the labcoats in his pack, the pack in the can and then putting the spectre and long las in it as well. He went around to the front of the store and pushed everything clear of the front door before going back to Solaria. "All right Su... frak it... Ok, come on," he says, encouraging Solaria up on his back. He pulls one labcoat around his waist and snugs it up under her butt and then another under her rear and over his shoulders tieing all four tightly in the middle of his chest. "You ok back there?" he asks as he puts his shotgun on his shoulder and cradles the hellgun. He gets a hold of the garbage can and drags it behind him. "Well, we looking fraking ridiculous."

"I don't care how we look," Solaria said tiredly. "I just care that we keep living." She let her head rest across one of Mir's shoulders. "I think those pain killers I took are starting to kick in, I'm feeling..." she yawned. "...sleepy. If I pass out and drool on you, it's not on purpose."

"Nothing like dead weight." Mir sighed and headed out, trying to loop north and west away from the sisters and in the opposite direction from the demoness. He took his time, making sure the coast was clear before crossing any streets moving as quickly as he could, cautiously. He was painfully aware of Solaria on his back and her helpless condition.

The trip back to the hotel was an exercise in personal torture. Though a small woman, Solaria's weight was enough to pull at her make shift sling and cause the fabric to bite painfully into Mir's shoulders. With one hand full of hellgun and the other dragging the trashcan, Mir was forced to hunch further and further forward as Solaria drifted off to a drug induced sleep in order to ensure she didn't slide off his back. Under the circumstances, Mir was forced to halt frequently for rest.
When they finally arrived, Mir was coated in sweat, and it hurt to breathe.
