Not with those bolter bitches as pissed as they likely are and your friend on the loose." Mir rummaged around the store, pocketing a lamp pack, some pens, several empty bottles and a calendar. "It might be slower but I'd rather carry you and have you with me than leave you and hope you're still here what I get back. Last time I let you out of my site you switched drivers on me."

Skive jerked slightly at the outburst, and the gun-servitor's weapon came back up until Skive waved it back. He tilted his head, eying Buck consideringly. "You don't trust me, do you?"

Mir helped Solaria to her feet. "First we need to collect some meds, then we need to see if we can't rig a sling. I need to carry you but I need my hands free in this messed up place."

Solaria fell against Mir as he helped her up, wrapping her arms around the back of his neck and holding on tight to stay standing. "Don't get any dumb ideas," she breathed into her chest. "Help me around, I'll see what we have here."

Skive sighed. "I see. Well, can we at least agree that we have a common goal? To find out where we are, how we arrived here, and how to get home?" He added after a moment "And that whoever is responisble will feel the wrath of the Emperor for their abduction of His loyal servants?"

"No promises," Mir said as he helped her up onto his back and carried her to the shelves of medicine. "Grab everything that looks useful, dunno when we might find a haul like this again."

Mir felt Solaria nod against his back, and she reached out a shaking hand to pluck this or that bottle or box from the shelves as they made their way around the room, stuffing them into Mir's pockets for the time being.

Mir led her around the room, past all the shelves and to the back. "See any bandages and disinfectant?" he asked as he pulled a couple of lab coats off a rack.

"Yes to disinfectant, no to bandages though," she muttered.

"Well then these," he held up the labcoats, "will have to do, later." He carried Solaria back to the counter and sat her up on it as he began to transfer all the medicine from his pockets to the backpack. "Now I've just got to figure out how to carry all this crap and you."
