Mir motions for the girl to stay quiet. He readys his shotgun and surges into the room, throwing the door open wide and sweeping it with his shotgun.

Nothing stirs. The room is empty, and the only sound is the crunch of wood under Mir's boots as he steps upon the scattered remains of the weapon racks. Aside from the lockers to his left and vault to his right, there is a small, two booth firing range set in the back of the room, from which a foul oder drifts.

Mir slowly stalks forward, his shot gun held at the ready. He edges closer to the firing booths and peers around the dividers.

Inside the range, Mir spots a rotten pile of flesh, so ripped and torn that it is impossible to tell what it might have been. Nothing else seems to be present in the room.

Mir's face screws up in disgust. He fights to keep his lunch down and heads back to the door. He grabs it and shuts it tight. "Ok, lets look at that shoulder."

The girl nodded, her face damp with sweat and looking pale. She sits somewhat awkwardly on the floor, leaning back against the wall with a light hiss of pain.

Mir puts down his backpack and pulls out his medkit, again. "What's your name," he asks. He reaches for her shoulder and pauses awkwardly. "I uh... have to get to the wound."

She looks at Mir for a moment, then with a deep sign she turns away from the wall, presenting her back to him. " Solaria," she answers as she awkwardly pulls her shirt up one handed, finally getting it over her head to bare her shoulders. She keeps her arms through the sleeves though, and hugs the shirt tight to her chest. A bit of red runs down the back of her neck.

Mir coughs uncomfortably. "Mir," he says as he digs out the disinfectant and gauze. "This is going to sting," he says as he pours some of the disinfectant on her wounds.

" I just had four inch talons try to rip the flesh from my shoulder, I think 'stinging' is hardly something I need worry about at the moment," she said in a tight voice.

"Well excuse me princess," he grumbles as he unrolls some of the gauze and covers the disinfected wounds on her shoulder. "Arm," he says, holding out his hand.

" It's fine," Solaria protests, but holds her injuried arm out anyway with a sort of weary acceptance.

"No, it's not." He quickly doses the slash on her arm with disinfectant and bandages it as well. After packing his first aid kit back up he looks around. "We need to get everything we can out of here, start looking." Mir heads for the first locker and tries to open it.

" Thanks," Solaria says grudgingly, but not coldly. She watches as Mir tries to open the locker, but the door is locked. Getting up, she wanders over and tries another, and finds it locked as well. Banging a fist off the door, she goes over to one of the open lockers and looks inside. " Empty," she says in disgust, slamming it shut. On the front of the locker, a key juts from the keyhole just above the latch, it's back end a bright orange.

Mir spots the key in the other locker. "Well, worth a shot." He takes the key from the open locker and tries it in the one he'd just been trying to open himself.
