I know Rhinestone Cowboy. I don't think I've ever actually heard Witchita Lineman, and I've never heard of Galveston. "Oldies" music ( ) is really the only music i listen to. Nothing really newer than the 70s.Cpl Kendall wrote:Sweet zombie jebus! Three of Cambells best known works:Lt. Staplic wrote:nope.

BTW: Jimmy Webb wrote Witchita Lineman.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

I think Tsuki and Mikey might have a few suggestions, but we might be a little to lightweight for them.

Here's a Sci-Tech of the Extreme Future
Reflector Shields
Starfleet deflector shield tech has led to the development of a "Reflector Shield". Upon taking fire, the ships shields quickly modulate to an exact opposite frequency of the enemy weapons, therefore, not only deflecting the damage, but actually "REFLECTING" the damage back along the angle from which it was fired. Continuous beam weapons are the most greatly effected by this, as they will ride there own beam back to impact against the firing ship. Pulse weapons and even torpedo damage will still be reflected back towards the firer with with less precision and a loss of power.

Re: Sci-Tech of the Extreme Future!
That's not a bad Idea, It could work kind of like the bose headphones designed to block out incoming sound by emmiting an inverse frequency to cancel it out.
However using this principal (as I think you are) energy wepons would simply be canceled, not reflected, torps maybe.

Well, shields that cancel out energy weapons altogether would be a pretty serious defense.Lt. Staplic wrote:That's not a bad Idea, It could work kind of like the bose headphones designed to block out incoming sound by emmiting an inverse frequency to cancel it out.

So what happens if two ships thusly equiped with reflective shielding open fire on each other, shots bouncing off left right and centre.
But I can't throw, I throw like a geek!

That's given me some pretty hilarious mental imagery.
