Eh? Why?

Why? He's the only one of the five Captains who hasn't tried to commit genocide.Reliant121 wrote:Because I hate Kirk's guts, thats why.

Re: Under which Captain would you rather serve?
Why do you hate him to the point where you'd rather be under the command of a captain who got her entire crew stuck on the otherside of the galaxy due to her own personal stupidity?

Because he was an arrogant fool that seemed to respect punch ups more than anything else. IMO.

And that's worse than being dumb enough to get stuck on the other side of the galaxy.....how?

What did Sean Connery ever do to you, Reliant?
I can't stand nothing dull
I got the high gloss luster
I'll massacre your ass as fast

I'm like Reliant, I cant stand Kirk, he's to violent.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

If you look at Kirk's problems compared to all the other captains you can see how violent solutions to his problems may have been more justified. Besides, Picard had Worf and Riker to do his heavy lifting; when Kirk had a genetically engineered super soldier (Khan) to deal with he handled it himself. In The Hunted Worf took on the Angosian super soldier.Teaos wrote:I'm like Reliant, I cant stand Kirk, he's to violent.

Janeway. If I kill someone, she'll just send me to my room. Gotta love someone with that kind of leeway.

Irrelavent, At least i could bare being captained by him. Kirk to me was a chauvenistic, confrontational, arrogant asshole. He got better in the films but not masses.katefan wrote:If you look at Kirk's problems compared to all the other captains you can see how violent solutions to his problems may have been more justified. Re: Under which Captain would you rather serve?
And how is that better than having a captain who will allow a hostile alien race to steal your lungs and keep them after you've caught them?
