Sudden Death
Re: Sudden Death
Ok, for the past ten minutes I have been answering correct questions on the Sudden Death, yet the counter stays on 1 correct. Then when I loose, it says my score is zero.

Re: Sudden Death
Hmm, maybe a problem with the modifications Ian made to the site? Anyone else having this problem (I'll go check it myself now)?

Works fine for me...
Ian is away for the weekend, it will likely be Monday before he can take a look.

I've just tried it, and it works fine for me.

It was on my desktop, so IE 7.
Now tried it on my laptop, with Firefox. Only problem with that was I got a planet after 4.

I'm after trying it with IE6 (on my old sucktastic computer) and it still works for me. I think the problem must be on your end, Stitch.

Agreed - planets and nebulae are downright evil. On the plus side, I'm on the Honour Roll. Number two hundred and something but still, it's progress.stitch626 wrote:Only problem with that was I got a planet after 4.

Damn those Nebulae! And anything from Voyager. And Enterprise. I never do better than 20.

Re: Sudden Death
I do notice Ian is positon 28 on the honour roll and Graham is only 44... *points and laughs at Graham*
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: Sudden Death
A note on the Honour role for sudden death. It only takes into account entries where you end up on the high score table for a given week. The total score is the total of entries in the high score table. The number of entries is again the number of high score entries you have and average obviously one divided by the other. If you play and don't end up on the high score table at the end of the week then you don't count towards the honour role.

Now I'll see if I can stay there.
