Re: Gamma Mission Prep
That's a question for Teaos, I think. (Sorry - simultaneous post.)
Thorin - no problem. Once in a while, meaningless trivialities (like life) get in the way of DITL.
You're right about the Tigerfish (TM - Reliant ) being upgraded - I just never got around to new actual stats, and I didn't think it would truly affect freeform gaming. It'll be a match for a bug or two. 8)

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
Damn computer problems.
I've got about a half a post finished; I wanted everyone's opinion on introducing a local independant species that may be allies or enemies in the future. I'm on the far side of the nebula, and have run into a small survey party; now, with the Dominion station in the nebula, I'm up in the air whether these guys would run, join the attack, or attack us as well. I was thinking we could use some friends, personally.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
BTW, where is this nebula again? I can't seem to find any reference to whether it's in the same system our base is, or how big it is.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
I think it was about 3 or 4 days at warp 6.
Anyhow, as far as any indigenous species; don't forget that we now have Karemma contacts for intel.

So, another system. Thanks.Mikey wrote:I think it was about 3 or 4 days at warp 6.

On the indigenous race: I wasn't thinking of anything major, just a minor non-aligned species that don't like the Dominion much. I figured since we're in the "backwater" of the Dominion, we might run into some races that aren't Dominion members. I put their tech on par with early 24th century Federation vessels, and really only came up with them to have something to do. Now, I think we could use them as additional cannon-fodder in the upcoming battle, and maybe another.
Unless we don't want any non-canon species appearing (no Chakats, I promise). I wrote up some rough specs, if anyone would like to see them.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
I guess Teaos would be the final authority.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
Yeah, I think I'll PM him about it; like I said, they wouldn't be a major factor in the overall story.

I've only just figured out the Shadow Fox is the Tigerfish. I'll edit appropriately

Tsu - You can make a new species up if you want. I would probably have them as being our allies but very casually. They obviously wont like the Dominion but are to scared to oppose them thus they help us but not obviously. That way to doesnt dominate the plot and stays believeable.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
Okay, people on our base know of the battle in the porthos nebula. I did not include every detail, because not everything is known about this event. And lower ranking crewmen woould probabl be less informed than the captains.

Shran, I changed the numbers for the survivors of the Pegasus, but I don't think it'll pose THAT much of a problem.
Mikey, I'm surprised you didn't want the Jemmie prisoners hog tied as well
Wow........a little scuffle sure gets everyone's creative juices flowing, huh? 8)
I'd hate to be that Klingon Captain, once we rejoin the force. If he's lucky, he'll JUST catch a beat down and get relieved of his command........I think. Captain W'Trisk sounded quite aggrivated

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
wait we have prisoners?
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Yeah, they boarded the Tigerfish and then got beamed into a makeshift brig in Mikeys room.
