I'm downloading and going to install the newest Ubuntu onto my computer, well, an external harddrive, just for kicks, have another hour of downloading, and then have to work with the actual OS, should be good fun.

What's Black Friday? :?
as you have often said wikipedia is your friend :)
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Was going to say I am working, but it would be more accurate to say I am at work. :P

Welcome back.

I somehow managed to completely fuck over my Windows 7 machine. Hopefully I'll be able to fully restore it to a new install. That would be great. Then I would be very happy... Otherwise my dad is gonna be pissed beyond belief, even though I did nothing to it.

Well, it's nice to see how stable and resilient the new OS is. What did it take, like 2-3 weeks?

Oh no, it's because I moved something, I resized the partition, and so I had to remake the boot. It wasn't happy with me. But it took 2 hours to fix, instead of not being able to be fixed...

It's an improvement, a big one.

No it's not. Moving something should not be a crime, neither should be re-sizing a partition. On a Mac they give you a utility built in to make partitions larger or smaller with no loss of data, no loss of the ability to boot the operating system.

I didn't say it was anywhere near as good as a mac, I don't believe that a bit, It's just a lot better than Vista was.

I'm waiting to get the 2000 to get a 26 inch mac. It'll be amazing once we do...
