Re: A new random thread
I'm not going to answer, because he said "wife," not "dog." Even in jokes, there are some lines I don't cross.
Besides, I've never met her.

Bruce Lee is not a memetic badass. A memetic badass requires their feats to be exaggerated, and Bruce needs nothing of the sort.

Re: A new random thread
I didn't know where to put this, but I was having a conversation with a couple of people at work the other day, and somehow we got to discussing our beliefs, and the women was baffled by the fact that I am an atheist but I believe in the existence of extra-terrestrial life. Se said its a contradiction to believe that there's life elsewhere in the universe, if I don't believe in a supreme being.
How is that? That makes no sense to me, as the two are completely different things? Anyone have any clue what she is talking about?
*PS if this should be elsewhere, my apologies.

I tend not to apply logic to the extremely religious. If you try you just end up like this ->
Ugh... do not thump the Book of G'Quan...

Tell her to pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space, 'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth.Tinadrin Chelnor wrote:I didn't know where to put this, but I was having a conversation with a couple of people at work the other day, and somehow we got to discussing our beliefs, and the women was baffled by the fact that I am an atheist but I believe in the existence of extra-terrestrial life. Hence the creation of Chuck Norris facts! On Chuck Norris' driver's license, he has a special spot under the spot for "doner" that reads: " I'm Chuck Norris and I'll be providing the hospital with thousands of organs from other donors."RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Bruce Lee is not a memetic badass.
