I'm sorry to hear that gang.

In other news....my Vegas vacation is closing. I leave next week Saturday. My neice is insisting I stay with her and her boyfriend. They made up the guest room for me. They moved in a futon, a tv, AND a computer (with net access) for me. I'll be able to check in from sin city :happydevil:

Bra-ha-ha-ha........................odds are, however Mark has had thoughts cross his mind that would make you curl up n' suck your thumb; same with most everyone on the site over the age of twenty three. :poke: I do hope that they figure out your Dad's situation in time so you all don't suffer too much. I know it is hard, yet keep in mind...... that a families love can make all of the difference.

Well i have just had to reformat my laptop. Somehow I had manged to consume almost all of the 100 gb harddrive, and it had become so painfully slow. I thought it was probably a good idea to just wipe it all from a fresh, its gone a long time since it's been reformatted (The HP G6000 has been around for quite some time now).

I'm currently on my mother's machine with windows 7 installed on it fresh on this morning. As far as I can tell it hasn't changed much from Vista, just got prettier. Although since we are on 64 bit this time instead of 32 it sure as hell is fast.

I haven't seen Win 7 yet myself, but my friend and co-worker at the shop installed a copy on a computer last night and said it did indeed seem a good bit lighter and quicker than Vista (on the same hardware). (damning with faint praise?)

As to me, me has his senior design project back on track and moving at full steam, is continuing to look for employers needing a freshly graduated BS in mechanical engineering, and is simultaneously starting to apply to grad schools in case me don't get that job straight away; what me'll angle for then is a cooperative education program in which the school will arrange an internship with a corporate partner of the school.

Do you REALLY want to put Little Nicky in the same room as a hooker? Especially since we've been coaching him??? :happydevil:
