1203 Day Three:

The Construct farthest from the party lets out a foul scream and flys forward past the altar, still a pillar of flame.

1203, Day Three

Trask suddenly reappeared in his original position, and ran full tilt right up the main aisle of the cathedral screaming, "Abomination!" and brandishing his new sword. His momentum took him right up to arm's reach of the flaming xeno construct which had just flown over the altar. The sword cut an arc into the creature's trunk, where it flared brightly with pale blue power and dug itself through the thing and out the other side. Ichor sprayed as the beast fell to the ground in two separate pieces.

Trask spat on the corpse, then held up his sword and again his ofigure blurred and disappeared, only to reappear near the left-hand wall of the nave.

Catching the sight of Trask jumping about the room below, Enrick twitched. "Okay, is it me or is that just REALLY freaky!"

1203, Day Three - Milo replied into his vox, "I told you at base, guard - freaky is what I do."

Enrick laughed. "Makes me glad we don't have your kind on my world. I don't think I could put up with this shit on a daily basis."

1203 Day Three:

As the Adept takes cover behind the pews, the remaining Construct flys over the altar and takes a swing at Trask, narrowly missing him with it's pincers. A few seconds later the Overseer raises a weapon none of you recognize and sends a ravening blast of energy at Phebia, which she dodges. The blast impacts the wall behind her, leaving a smoking crater. The foul creature takes cover in the office, joined quickly by the Bishop who yanks open the door to the cellar, they clearly intend to escape into the lower floor of the building.

With nothing for her to do, the medicae Sister draws her sidearm and waits to see if anyone suffers injury.

1203, Day Three

Trask spoke into his vox, still keyed to the common frequency. "Gakk it! We're not scratching this Throne-damned 'overseer' thing! It's in the west office, looks like it's headed for a bolt-hole. Cog-girl's got the breaching charges, you folks think we should bring the house down on it?"

Phebia crouched with her back to the pew. Her eyes were fixed on the smoking crater the Overseer's weapon had dug into the building. "Yes," she replied back. "We should bury this thing. This building is tainted with the Bishop's heresy regardless. Level the building and burn the remains."

1203, Day Three

"Interrogator?" Milo called into the vox. "Damn it, Ferringo, wake up! What's the ETA for an airstrike?" Lowering his voice, he continued, "Karibi? Can you tell what's on the lower level?"

Enrick, listening to the chatter, waved his arm to the persons on the roof with him. "Clear out! We're bugging in thirty!"

Phebia crouches over and keeps below the pews as she hustles back to Haxta. "Rig your charges and follow me, we're going to blow out that office before the gunship's paste everything." Phebia keeps low and makes for the left side of the cathedral and then up the far wall towards the office the overseer disappeared into.

1203, day 1

Haxta nods, switching out her launcher for one of her demo charges, following closely after Phebia. Reaching the wall, she ducks down and begins to set the charge.

1204

From her vantage point near the office Phebia popped up. The final construct was in flames and advancing on Trask. Taking aim she fired her carbine again and the explosive bolt blew the beast to the ground. "Set the charges!" Phebia demanded as she twisted to cover the exit of the office and altar area.

1204, day 3

"Working on it," Haxta said tensly, not even bothering to look up. She wired all three remaining charges together, stuck them to the wall, and then unslung her lasgun. "Running time."

1204 Day Three

"Everyone out," Phebia barked into the vox. "And someone grab the interrogator." The battle sister got up and ran back down the pews pausing half way down to fire her carbine into the altar to hopefully keep everyone's heads down. Slinging the bolter she brought her lascarbine to the ready and followed the tech priestess.
