Anyway, there it is. Our new contacts can be used to further the plot as a source of information, or simply as a source of roleplaying interaction. Plus, we now have a supplier.

Shran, you might want to make a quick edit. McDuff is the Chief Engineer on USS Pegasus, not Paladin 8)

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Good news Staplic.............you can post again now!!! And if you have troops aboard Valkyrie, that could put Cix in the center of the action

An idea I had awhile ago but never got around to bringing up.

We could make the Valkyrie our Marine ship. This is a good 10+ years after VOY and after the Dominion war, we could make it that the Federation learned their lesson and started to develop a land army.

An Intrepid is perfect for them, it is fast and can land on a planet.

It will also give Monroe something to do since he can be its commander.

We havent really mentioned that ship much so we can just retcon it in and pretend its always been like that.

We could also have it so that the Klingons and Romulans both have a platoon of troops or something.

Thoughts?
Teaos had this great idea.

Ok then, executive decision. We;re going with the Valkyrie being a troop ship. It will still have the same basic stats as an intrepid pretty much but the insides would have been reworked quite a bit to hold troops and their gear.

Monroe still needs to have his say on what he wants to happen with it since he will command the army but we can all brain storm.

*What sort of gear

*How many

*Capabilities

ect

They wont have anything major to do until the shut hits the fan but I imagin we could send small groups out to do stuff. Up to you guys.

Turning it into a troop ship seems like a good idea.

I don't think that there would be a ton of specialized equipment - we're probably talking about a shock force, not an actual invasion force. FC/Nem type rifles, hopefully some sort of grenade, maybe even a Worf-zooka or something as section-support weapons. I'll leave it for somebody else to do the calculations, but you could probably take a Beta-mission walker or two.
