No, those tend to be on a revolving door for me. Most tend to hit a wall at some point with me and get deleted.

I just got accepted to The University of Iowa. I'm pretty excited. I'm starting the whole process of applying for scholarships, which isn't the most fun, but it should be worth it in the end.

"Regrouping" --- I've also heard "trading" thrown about.

I submit to you that in terms of physical reality, negative numbers do not exist as it is impossible to have less than nothing.

Well then they might as well change the word subtract and the term take away.

Yeah, a few years ago I recall my wife mentioning that the new curricula don't use the term "borrowing" any longer - and they've gone back to the term "take away" for the youngest grades.

I've just gotten the most utterly awkward pair of earphones for my MP3 player. Normaly, I wouldn't mind the awkwardness, but the real problem is the length of the wire. The wire seems to be wrapped around a reel of some sort, yet I can't figure out just how the hell I'm supposed to extend the wire. The box says it should extend to 1.2 metres, but at the moment it doesn't even reach down to my stomach.

Then again, I did pick it up in the €2 Store. So you get what you pay for, I suppose.
