I just defraged my laptop, then I put all my music on my passport, so now I have 18 gb available on my laptop. Sad.

By modern standards that's not a lot of HD room.

It is a small amount of room, not so much for a laptop though... however most hard drives are around 500 GB. I mean they have flash memory up to 64GB now... Which is huge compared to what it use to be. I'm hoping to get one soon... haha

You're such a comfort to have around at times like these, you know?
I wasn't nervous in the least. Mostly just bored and over it. The wedding was a relief because I didn't have to talk about the prep for it anymore. Of course I'd been with Honeypie for five years before we ever got married so we both were well aware of one another's crazy by then.
Aye, at +3 years with the wife to be now. We're both nuts, know it, and accept it. Be glad when this done myself.

Lucky guy.

I've always said 50% of love is just being able to put up with the other person's shit.

There is no such thing as love, there is lust and habit.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Well, half the time when I turn my PC on, I'm in the 'magic box make pretty pictures!' caveman phase. :P

I had a good day today, at least on paper. But I'm irritable.

Well I got to get something off my chest before I explode from it.

My wife to be has this friend, sweet girl, very thoughtful...and sharp as a marble. I like this girl, but I also want to strangle her for having absolutely no common sense. And not just the "Oops, that was silly of you" lack of sense, the "Holy crap, that could have gotten you killed" kind.

So, story time children.

Said friend was on her way to see her boyfriend, who lives in St. Louis. On the way there though there was a big accident and the police were diverted people off the highway. Well she didn't know the area and she soon got lost, in east St. Louis. (For those of you who don't know, this is a VERY bad place).

So she pulls up to a light and there is a car next to hers, with a guy and girl in it. She rolls down her window and tries to ask them for directions, which they try to give. However not knowing the area at all, she has trouble understanding where she's suppose to be going, and they can tell.

So the guy offers to drive out there and let her follow him, and she agrees. After a while, they leave the city, and head into Illinois, obviously not the right way. But she keeps following him anyway. Then he pulls over on a completely disserted stretch of the highway...

She pulls over as well... :bangwall:

He gets out of his car...she does as well... :bangwall:

He asks her, "So, how much were you planning on giving us for showing you the way?" She tells him she only has a twenty in her purse. They guy asks again where they are suppose to be going, and trying to figure out where it is.

She finally, finally calls her boyfriend, but by then she's so lost she can't tell him anything useful, he has no idea where she is.

The guy asks to talk to her boyfriend, so she HANDS THIS TOTAL STRANGER WHO LEAD HER TO THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE HER PHONE... :bangwall:

Thank god he was only an asshole trying to milk some cash out of a poor lost girl, and not a freaking rapist or murder or who knows what else. After she got her phone back she finally decided that she'd be better off just heading back and talking to her boyfriend until she came across some place he knew.

And she still doesn't fully grasp just how much potential danger she was in. She just does not get it. Her defense was "Well there was a girl with him, so I figured it would be okay." :bangwall:
