For the record, the door was replaced today; the old one was just sitting there looking smug.

Yay, I can open my main garage door again!

Dude, can you give me a break? I'm not even home yet and you're making my honey-do list bigger. :bangwall:

Glad to hear 'bout your aunt , Deep. The older generations always seem to be pretty darn tough, eh?

I'm feeling pretty great considering, off the morphine this morning. With the lung tube out, I'm starting to feel all the other side effects of a head-on collision though. I've had a lot of help hear at the hospital however, Randy hasn't left my side. He even went way far above, and beyond when it came to helping me with some pretty embaresing stuff. :angel1: Press, you should be greatful, I can wipe my own ass now! :takecover:

Any way, better be getting back, breakfast is probably there waiting on me. P., you got my spelling right?
Love you P. and all you other guys out there too. :) thanks again.

Great to hear, Uzume. And I have long said that the best part of getting out of the hospital is the opportunity to wash your ass.

Huh, seems there was an 8.0 earthquake in the Pacific by American Samoa. We've got a tsunami warning for the state. A friend still in the Army said its expected to hit the island around 1pm, in Ewa Beach. Don't know how true that is, but it's pretty freaky.

Shit, didn't something like that kill tens of thousands of people back in 2003 or something? :|

2004. The quake's a similar size, but the Boxing Day Tsunami caused problems mainly because of how close to land the epicentre was (just off the northern tip of Sumatra), and the density of the local populations. American Samoa is out in the middle of nowhere, so there's plenty of space for the energy to dissipate, and there are no really high density populations in the path of any tsunami that forms. Doesn't mean that nothing will happen, but it does mean that it'll be nothing like as bad.

What a day to be stuck at the office, huh?

By the way, looks like Teaos may be in the general line of fire as well.

Good to hear. I wasn't too sure where Samoa was.

Yeah, good to hear you shouldn't be in much real danger there Mark!

I'm still feeling decidedly unwell, but not medically serious; just a thing you've got to rest through. At least I did find a good solid pair or winter boots already in store and snatched them up.

Whew......cancelled the warning. We can expect some big waves and changes in the current, but no tidal wave SHOULD hit us. Samoa got his with 10 to 15 foot waves, though.
