But that would be insulting to the true Vulcan wannabes...Tsukiyumi wrote:Call em a bunch of Vulcan wannabes. That should get the ball rolling.

Hehe, I might be able to get that rolling... after elections (might hear about it in the news, so thats all I'll say for now).
No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

because we all know how well romulan political proceedings are understood and covered by Federation Journalists :pstitch626 wrote:(might hear about it in the news, so thats all I'll say for now).

Well, I would think a change in the head of government of a major foreign power would at least rate a paragraph or two...Lt. Well I won't be here to get it, assume it's mostly the same from last turn/what we talked about the other week.
I will see you all in 10 days.

Speadsheets sent today. Written reports tomorrow. Contrary to reports I am not dead. Just actually had to work at work the last two weeks...if this keeps up I might have to find a new job.

Re: Star Trek Sim discussion
Also the Romulan-Gorn mock battle will start this week. Sorry for the delay on that.
One rules change I want to float by everyone for battles after messing with the first is this.
All ships have a max speed of 7 hexes. Each group is assigned a base rating of 3, 5 or 7 so this is very simple stuff.
If you keep going in a straight line your speed will go up one category each turn to a max of 7 hexes. If you are traveling higher than your base speed you lose one speed category for each hex face you turn and can never go lower than your base.
This is intended to represent the fact that top speed is not really accurate here, it is more a matter of how fast you can get up to speed. Sound fair enough?
