Got a job, yea.
Friend Scott died last night , car wreck. Police think foul play, by his brother, might be a possibility Really worried 'bout Brit his wife, also very good friend. She a little psychotic, Really hope she doesn't do anything stupid. Man F*CK, I thought I would be like 40-50 before my friends started dropping like flies....

I'm really sorry to hear that, Leia
It's never easy to lose a friend. I can relate to the feeling of suddenly having friends start dying on you. I've lost more than a few in the drug days, and even more since I got clean. It should be A LOT longer in the future before we should have to start burying each other.
In other news I got my MRI results back. I've got degeneration of the spine, arthritis, and a bulging disk. The doctor asked if I'd ever played any high impact sports like football. So me of course just had to ask "Does jumping off of balcony's to get away from the cops count?"
I've GOT to learn when to just shut the fuck up sometimes.

A young friend of mine (14 or 15) got hit by a car riding his bike this week
. Looks like he's going to be ok, just a lot of broken bones and surgery. I was really worried for a while
.
And as Harry already knows: I joined facebook! I'm having lots of fun with the games, but I only have 11 friends
. I want more people. I know someone who has almost 200! Anyone who can find me can be my friend. My profile picture is a pretty sunset for now, only because I haven't figured out how to put my own picture in yet. I'll post it when I change the pic. My name is, well, my name (not IntrepidPrincess, my REAL name), middle name and all. See if you can find me!!

So I'm at the college. And all four of my classes are canceled for the day.

Leia - wow. My sympathies. When I was younger, I had to bury an 18-year-old friend from a car accident, and there's no justifying it. Add those suspicions... wow.
IP - glad to hear your friend will be OK. And join the DITL group on FB!
Mark - I have a herniated disc for years. There's no way to sugar-coat it - it sucks. But thank the Lord for doctor-client privelege, eh?

Very sorry to hear that Uzume, I know the feeling, as I've actually lost more friends than most know, I have so many friends that I know a few that have either passed or disappeared and then found out they usually end up gone for good. Life in general sucks, it really does...
Today, 2 of my "girlfriends" got in an argument about something, not even sure what anymore, but I got stuck in the middle, and now they are both mad at me for trying to fix it...
Yeah, no offense to any girls on here, but girls can be so temperamental, and it is really hard being a good friend to both parties involved, hopefully it'll blow over tomorrow...

Haha, to me the perks of a girl are well worth the non-understanding, regardless of the fact that the perks come from the misunderstandings...

You know Nick, I've been stuck in that same position many times when I was your age. I always gravitated rather easily into the girls circle (little did they know I was mearly stalking my prey
), but one thing I learned is "STAY THE HELL OUT OF IT!" You cannot win. You will always lose. Don't try and fix anything. Let them vent, offer support, but nothing else. You will ALWAYS end up being the bad guy somehow, but oddly enough it will usually heal the breach between THEM when they join up against you.

Yeah Mark, thankfully they like you more after they hate you than they did before...
I've learned how to work the system, don't get in too deep, which means until your 6 feet under, your still doin' good...
On another note, I found the CPU/Motherboard/RAM combo I plan on getting for Stitch's machine...
Motherboard
CPU
RAM
And overall it'll be about 400 dollars, which is a good deal from what I've seen. And thank goodness for technology, heat sinks are now super easy to install...

Relliant, you always know how to make me smile.
Thanks to everyone, sorry for your friend IP.
Mark I recommend you get a liver test done every 3 mo if the doc puts you on lorcets/lortabs/narco. Especially if you drink occasionally, and also because of your history. And yeah Mikey, gotta love DPC.

Erm,
because of his history, he
doesn't drink.

Except the stock ones Intel ships with Core 2 Duos that I've never been able to figger out... I actually find the ones on the Socket 478's (most Pentium 4's) super easy. AMD ones... well, I haven't had to handle one yet (on a desktop at least). Tells ya 'bout their market share. For laptops the heat sinks usually are just screwed in place over the CPU.
