Enrick laughed at Trask. "Wouldn't it be more fun if they saw us coming? It'd be rude to show up without calling ahead." Dropping out of the craft, Enrick screamed out... "YOINK! Hahahahahaha!"

1200 Day 3

Lot tightened the straps of her chute, giving the others a big thumbs up, she jumped fearlessly holding her gas mask in place with one hand, the other arm stretched overhead, as a child would jump into a swim'n hole.

"I'd like to live long enough to hit the ground in one piece," Haxta called after Trask. Taking a deep breath, she approached the end of the ramp, and looked down. She then gave a vile curse. "Someone...push me." she said, closing her eyes.

Pahr watched Lot disappear from the doorframe, then grinned and shoved Haxta out and followed close behind. They'd all land safely if the Emperor willed it.

1200 Day Three:

Haxta feels someone shove her out the door and she's immediately surrounded by the howl of the Valkyries engines and the thumping of mortar impacts. The rest of the team follows shortly after her. The descent is quick, the grav chutes deploying without a hitch, depositing the assassins, medic, and guardsmen onto the roof as planned. The rest of the time finds itself scattered within close proximity of the shrines door. No one else is insight.

1200 Day Three:

Haxta hits the ground somewhat gracelessly, trying to remember something about bending or tucking or something with her knees. Instead she hit and rolled, coming to rest on her back and having to scrabble in a rather undiginified manner back to her feet. Taking a quick glance around and seeing no one but her team-mates, she slings her weapon for the moment as she approaches the door, and begins to pull out the 'key'.

Milo hit the ground - with his knees bent, as Ferringo had instructed - and immediately cursed the interrogator. Trask was undamaged, but the jolt jarred him from top to bottom. Straightening and slinging the grav-chute into a nearby mortar crater, he looked around. "Where's the adept? Can we get an auspex reading before Haxta knocks on the door?"

1201 Day 3

Approaching the roof Lot relaxes her body, knees slightly bent, she folds n' rolls on impact. She waits for three seconds mentally taking note of her body before belly crawling a few feet towards the west post of the breached dome. She notices a twinge of pain in her left knee, but pays it no mind as she checks her rifle and prepares for the turkey shoot. In her mind she prays to the Emperor for the safety of the others on the front.

Haxta nodded at Milo. "A good idea." She did not pause in setting up the charges though, one on each door, and wired to go off at a coded signal from her micro-bead.

As Pahr rapidly approached the rooftop, he felt the grav chute activate, slowing his fall significantly. A meter before he landed, he mentally prepared to roll into a combat position.

His chute promptly malfunctioned, and he ended up sprawled on his face on the rooftop. He blinked in annoyance, spitting a piece of gravel out as he swiftly pressed himself upward and to his feet.

He stalked silently to the edge of the breached dome, and went prone near the edge, readying his weapon.

1200 Day 3

When Phebia's feet barely brushed the ground her hand came up to slap the quick release on her chest dumping the grav chute and her pack on the ground behind her. With her bolter carried in front of her she moved rapidly across the open courtyard running for the wall on the left side of the main doors not stopping until her shoulder hit rockcrete. She turned back to the courtyard and waved the rest of the team up. "Go!" she yelled through the muffling gas mask. She edged up close to the door and scanned the area around them to see if anyone was coming to resist them.

Her training had taught her that the greatest danger from a drop was the moments after your feet hit dirt. If you didn't move quickly and keep surprise on your side the defenders would get their wits about and slaughter you in the open.

1201 Day 3

As Haxta wired the door she stuck close to the tech priestess trying to keep her safe as best she could in the wide open with no cover.

Finishing setting up the charges, Haxta touches Phebia on the shoulder. "Thank you," she says softly. Her next words chime with a computerized tone from the team's beads. "The doors are ready to let the party in, whenever we're ready."

Enrick hit the roof with ease. Dropping the chute and raising his heavy stubber, he moved quietly to the edge of the dome. Just out of sight of anything below. "I'm in position. Awaiting instruction." Waving over the assassins with a bit of a rush. "Come on! I thought this would be your grace?"

Haxta nodded and moved away from the doors. "Roof team, what do you see?"

1203 Day3

"Lot here, we see four Constructs hovering near the door to the left hand side office (the one with the cellar entrance) along with a human and a cloaked figure heading into the office." The micro-bead announces to the team. The cloaked figure is in her gun sight, she takes aim for it's legs and fires.
