Florence is a great place. We loved it. Didn't notice and mosquitoes though.

Well I've officially started applying to colleges today...now I just have to go into my HS office and get them to send my transcripts to the schools, that'll be a joy :(

thanks...I'm pretty confident I'll have options...both major instate Universities (Iowa State University and The University of Iowa) have majors in my desired field, and they use this new system for acceptance called the RAI index, which is basicly an equation taking into account your ACT score, GPA, Class rank, and the number of core classes (they added the last one so that people cheating the system by getting A's in a bunch of 'fluff' classes couldn't slide by). Last year I ran the numbers just based on what I would have at the end of Jr. year and found that I could get a negative value on my ACT and still get accepted. Then I got a 31 :), though I'm retaking next week to try and improve a little.

Yes, I remember the heady days when I headed off to college from HS... almost a decade ago now! (how'd I get that old already?) Well, I've learned that nothing goes as expected...

Yep, I'm afraid the BF wouldn't be allowed in the house.

Too bad. There's all sorts of things you could do to him if he was berthed under your roof.
