My apartment building caught on fire today. Got called back from work to keep my wife company outside and bring some food(she didn't grab her wallet).

In the end I lost a day of work but we're fine.

However apartments 8 meters from us are completly toast and an apartment that shares a wall with us has smoke damage

On that note get renters insurance if you don't have a house. It made watching the flames spread a lot less worrying! (though it would still have sucked incredible amounts to lose everything and have to find a new place to go, especially with a baby daughter.).

I can't afford any insurance, currently. :x

Glad you're okay and didn't lose any stuff.

Happy to hear that you're OK, Sunny. And yes, renter's insurance is often forgotten but hugely helpful.

Reliant - I spent 18 mos. of my life in metal braces. It's not as bad as the horror stories would have you believe.

The brace itself i dont mind. Couldn't care less really, if it gives me decent teeth and removes my orc tooth at the bottom. ITs the fitting that worries me.

Dont expect to get much play with them on.

I hear braces aren't the chick repellent they used to be. Especially if there the clear ones, but for extra laughs have the dentist put on the coloured elastics. In a rainbow pattern.

Frankly. i'd rather endure braces than have shit teeth. and they arent too much of a chick repellent. not that actually means anything to me ;)

I've got a rogue canine hanging out the bottom that needs straightening up. And i got teeth in all random positions.
