Ok...so you haven't seen it?
What I am aware of is armour in development that runs a charge through, making it more resistant to kinetic and chemical attacks.
I haven't heard of that. How would that work?
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

I'm not 100% sure (and it's not like I'm an engineer), the article I read stated that an electrical charge is run through the armor which makes it harder (resisting KE attacks) and the charge also disrupts a HEAT jet.
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

So they've invented polarized hull plating

Pretty much, when I saw ENT that's where I figured the producers got the idea from.
Now if only they had stuck with those properties eh?

Your egging me on aren't you? Anyway's you could see the writing on the wall when Reed manages to do what SF's finest couldn't for decades in days: construct a working shield.

To be perfectly honest, I forget what side of the issue you're on, are you against what Enterprise did to tech or for it? Personally I'm against it.

I detested what they did, though it was tolerable for a while. Once things turned into TNG: More Chrome, I bogged off.

Alright then no, i'm not egging you on. I'm agreeing with you. Commiserating perhaps(?) what Enterprise could have been?

It got a bit better in the 4th season. Now we may have a slight chance to make up for it in the RP.
As for hate-mail...there are times I feel sorry for them.

I dont blame them to much for starting a new series. I do think it was idiotic to start a prequel. Wow I wonder how it will end... oh wait.
What does defeat mean to you?
