DW is an extension of the Ordos. So, they could have anyone they want so long as the mission calls for it.

Ok, the rules we'll be using for the marines are here. Tyranus Conclave: Adeptus Astartes

Yeah, in theory. In practice their pretty insular.

It's put together much better and in general I like the way they handle things.

I'm pondering a modification to the characteristics though. Given all the Marines go through their minimums are pretty freaking low. I may have all characteristics meet their minimums then add ten. A space marine with a WS or BS of only 30+ ain't right.

Probably going to start at 7,000 XP to allow everyone to be fully into the career paths we're talking about.

With the scale of things. Nothing is truly out of reach.

That makes sense.

Two questions.
Can I still take my Terminator?
If I can't, can I take a Dreadnought?

I'll have to go over the rules and see about Terminator honors.

Dreadnaught, no.

Of course, that begs the question: How are we handling weapons, armor, gear, and cash?

Weapons, armor, gear will all be issued. Pretty much anything in the rules set that you've got the talents for you can take, within reason. Money, Space Marines don't use it.

So money for nothing, stuff for free?

Your Chapter will supply you with the equipment that you need for your mission. Note the within reason part. You can't take two heavy weapons, five basic, a pair of pistols and a half dozen power weapons.

When have I ever been anything but reasonable?

Do you have a problem with having two Space Wolves? I see their career path lets you take Apothecary earlier then standard, giving me more XP to spend on the healing arts.

Not at all. We can always use more puppies.
