Dear god, I could write a better script in a coma.

Just saw the movie. Pretty solid. A bit more on the mainstreamy side of things than the series but I can understand that.
I suppose they could move forward from there. It'd be tricky though. They could have the doctor come up with some way to "fix" Rivers brain damage which as a side effect could tone her down to levels you can write around. Bring on a new pilot. Though it'd be tricky filling Books role again.

I got the impression from the ending that River was going to be more normal after finally telling someone about the knowlege they crammed into her head.sunnyside wrote:Just saw the movie. Pretty solid. A bit more on the mainstreamy side of things than the series but I can understand that.

And, that she would be the new pilot/resident ass-kicker.
Man, I love that movie.

Movie was good. But in my opinion it lacked the stuff that made the series really great. Or rather didn't have enough of it. And what the series didn't need was Neo.Tsukiyumi wrote: I got the impression from the ending that River was going to be more normal after finally telling someone about the knowlege they crammed into her head.

But I'm willing to let that slide for two scenes in a movie.
At any rate she did seem to get better but they'd physically altered part of her brain. Something in there could be turned around.
