So, my uncle talked my grandma into hiring one of his friends to do work on the house (work I could do myself for a fraction of the cost); that was bad enough. The guy is leaving nails all over my patio, where my dogs sleep; I have to let them in the house (which I never do) for hours at a time. I could still deal with that.
Today, the inept idiot switched off all the circuit breakers without saying anything...
So, I lost stuff I was working on, but I seem to have lucked out so far; my computer seems okay, other than not booting up until I turned off the surge protector...
I hate idiots.

That really sucks Kendall. I guess its just really hard to get out of one of those relationships and stay out. The guy always crawls back with promises of change.
So today our apartment cat was found dead. Kind of odd. No explanation for it.

And, somehow, they fall for it.

Some people really do love the person, for some odd reason, and want to believe they will, especially, as Kendall said his sister believes, that it's their fault and not his. Almost never is this the case.

I don't understand the "reasoning" (I'm not sure how else to describe it) but battered woman get convinced that they don't deserve any better and that no one will love them.
*shrug* Like I said, I don't get it and I don't have PhD after my name.

I dont mind phones with flowers on if it was built like it, like my old SE W595 in Sakura. But that is hideous.

I've read a great deal into it, and that is the basics behind it, they think that they don't deserve any better because what they have is abusive. There are ways to break the cycle though, one huge one being, find a guy that loves her but doesn't abuse her, and that is a hard thing to do. Besides that, be there for her, and make sure she knows u don't think she doesn't deserve better, etc. make her feel worthwhile.

Man, people can really be complete pricks sometimes.
Makes me wonder why dueling went out of fashion.

Someone who shall remain nameless left our peaches and avocado within reach of the dog and a few minutes ago my daughter caught her playing with the avocado as if it were a ball...
