"Time for my trusty companion to once more prove its worth." Seruatka announced, drawing the sword once more. After some fiddeling around, he managed to pry a section of the casing off of the panel. "Will that do?" He asked Kalta.

"You shave with that thing too?" Kalta asked as she dug a hand into the mass of wires behind the casing. After a moment's feeling around, she jerked a handful of wires free. Tossing them to the ground, she tried the door, which swung right open.

"Maybe." Ser replied, once more sheathing the sword. Drawing his rifle, he backed up against the side of the building, poking just his head around to peer into the now open door.

A squat, wide tracked battlewagon dominated the interior of the building. It was an ugly, rugged looking vehical, colored as much with rust as with the urban camo paint job it wore.

"I think we just found our way out of here." Seruatka commented, walking cautiously towards the vehicle. Once he was satisfied that no attack was imminent he scrambled quickly up onto the vehicle's hull and made his way towards what he assumed was the driver's seat. "I'm driving." He called back to Kalta.

Venus listened to Mir with a look of bored patience. "If you can't unjam a gun, you have no business using one. As for your blazers..." She turned and tossed the combat shotgun to the sister in the corner, who quickly transfered her tools into one hand in time to catch the weapon with the other. " Fit a fire selector to that." The woman nodded, stowing her tools away and marching out of the room without a word.
"Choas marine?" Venus asked neutrally. Her eyes were not on Mir, but on the chain sword. She reached for it, but drew back her hand as if burned just before she actually touched the weapon. "Yes, I see..."

Mir snorted. "Sure, I'll just field strip my gun in the middle of a fire fight, that won't get me killed." He watched her approaching the chain sword. "Well he was the size of a bus, covered in blood, shrugged off a shotgun round at two feet, and had chaosy squiggles all over his face. If he wasn't one of them then he sure wanted to be one."

"Fine by me," Kalta replied, taking a peek into the back of the heavy machine. "Hello there," she said gleefully. "Whoever parked this thing must have been planning on going out again, cause he left it loaded."

"Uh huh," Venus said in a distracted way, still reguarding the sword. After a moment she glanced at Mir. "How did you manage to survive?"

"Well, you shoot someone in the head enough and even a psycho like him will go down and stay down." Mir thought back to the encounter, carefully editing Solaria's existence out of his retelling. "Some voice told me I was violating protocol by bashing some locks off a weapons locker in an armory instead of finding the keys. I said frak it and grabbed the weapons anyways. The voice said I was going to get punished and big ugly came after me. He hacked through the armory door with the chainsword to get me. Well while he was doing that I gave him a couple blazers to the face with the regular shotty through the hole he was carving. I piled up some junk in front of the door so when he finished cutting it open it slowed him down and I unloaded my autoshotty into his chest. Close range with one of those turned his chest and face to hamburger."

"A voice talked to you about protocol?" She asked a bit skeptically. Then she shook her head and held up a hand. "No, never mind. This place is crazy enough." Coming on back over to Mir, Venus considered him, her eyes taking in the blast damage from the ork rockit, the torn fabric of his pants where the monsterous bug had bitten through. "I don't know what to make of you. I do not think you've lied to me, but I'm certain you are hiding something by omission. You're armor and clothing tell tales of battle, yet your body marks those tales false. Like so much here, I can not make much sense of you."

"Ah, well that's two of us. As for why I'm not beat up, I found some kind of medicae... thing out in the city. Like a healing chamber but not. I found it and used it before I came here."

A bit of light came into Venus's eyes. "Where?" she asked, pulling him over to the map. "Where is this thing?"

'Perfect,' Mir thought to himself. He looked over the Sister's rudimentary map. He located the hotel where everything had happened with Solaria and then traced his route from there. Finding the cross street he jabbed his finger down on the map. "It was on this street, down and alley, tucked way in the back. It had a glowing circle on it but its easy to miss."

Venus nodded and all but jumped to the door, pulling it open and calling out several names in a thundering voice that was startling to hear from such a tiny woman. In less than a minute a handful of Sisters had piled into the room. A few looked shocked if not scadalized to find their commander in her skivvies and alone with Mir, but Venus gave them no time to make anything of it. In short order she had gotten him to describe the device to the group, and then sent them on their way to find and secure it.
With the rush over, Venus returned to her casual, patient pace of speech and action. "You hungry?" she asked as she began to open her armor up to climb inside.

Mir had been trying to remain on task but the attractive little woman wasn't making it easy. His eyes wandered in spite of himself as she got ready to don her armor. "As a matter of fact, yeah, I am. I've been looking for something to eat since I got here and I haven't found jack. All I've had to eat are the emergency rations I had when I got here. They taste horrible and don't fill you up, they just keep you going."

Venus chuckled lightly. "Yes, you don't have to tell me." She began to strap herself into the armor. "I'll get someone to take you to the mess, and then the armory. After that, we'll figure out something to do with you." She paused, and looked up meaningfully at Mir. "A word of warning; I will not tolerate you being a...distraction to my troops. I can not blame you if any might show a certain, interest. However, I will consider it a waste of time and energy, neither of which can be spared at the moment, to indulge in that interest. Understood?"
