I think I'm getting addicted to caffine again. My work has free soda for the employees, and I've been indulging. We don't have any soda at the house, and I find myself craving the stuff on my days off.

I'm lucky enough to have a really high natural tolerance, and caffine doesn't affect me so I've never had an addiction.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

There are plenty of sodas that do not have caffeine in them, why not simply switch to one of those.

Because addiction, even for something as minor as caffine, doesn't let things be simple. It's not the soda I'm craving, it's the caffine rush. That said though, that is the plan as of now. We'll see how it goes. Stupid overly generous work.

I'm the same as Staplic, does nothing for me, regular sugar does though... odd

I just thought about this, you should have a raised eyebrow emoticon, as it is a Trek forum...

though that natural tolerance sucks when your being prescribed pain medication, they always aim on the low side, and I really need the high side of my "weight class". :(

Welcome to my world, although its more on anesthetic. They actually do need the same amount of aenesthetic that would put a small to medium sized horse to sleep to knock me out. Pain isnt an issue as I have an incredibly high pain threshold.

trust me, I do to, but when their giving you morphine to numb your pain before relocating your shoulder, and it doesn't work so they do it anyway, I can get through it, but it sucks.

the only time I've been given an appropriate dosage of pain-killers was when I broke my leg and I got prescribed Codine, that stuff will mess you up!

Aye,when i had appendicitis they gave me morphine in a drip in my hand (stupid t**t doctor missed my vein 3 fucking times, nurse got it immediately). Might as well have just left me for what good it did. Appendicitus is horrible. The pain itself is alright and the operation aint that bad its afterward, where you literally cant get up or bend your stomach at all because all the muscle along your stomach has been sliced through. Nasty nasty thing.

Woo Hoo! I had a great ATF evening last night. I imagine I'll have a very quiet 5th of July; my hearing should come back sometime tomorrow.
